Anadin Paracetamol
Gentle on the stomach, Anadin Paracetamol tablets are suitable for all the family from 6 years upwards. They are particularly effective for fevers associated with colds and 'flu. Anadin Paracetamol tablets are coated and specially shaped for easy swallowing.

Suitable for pain relief for all the family, including children over 6 years old. Each tablet contains 500mg of Paracetamol.
Anadin Paracetamol is available in packs containing 8, 16 or 32 tablets. The 32 tablet pack is available only from your pharmacy.
Dosage:
Adults, the elderly, and young persons aged 12 and over: Take 2 tablets with a drink of water. Repeat every 4 hours as required. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
For children 6 to 12 years of age: Take ½ to 1 tablet with a drink of water. Repeat every 4 hours as required. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours.
Do not take with any other paracetamol containing products. Do not give to children aged under 6 years of age. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, stop taking this medicine and consult your doctor.
Before you take this medicine
Do not take this medicine if any of the following apply to you:
- You are taking any other products that contain paracetamol
- You are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients
Take special care and talk to your doctor or a pharmacist before taking this medicine if any of the following applies to you:
- You are suffering from liver or kidney disease (including alcoholic liver disease) or G-6-PD deficiency (a hereditary condition leading to low red blood cell counts)
Taking other medicines
Do not use this medicine if you are taking medicines that reduce the clotting of the blood (e.g. warfarin).
Talk to your doctor or a pharmacist if you are taking some antibiotics (chloramphenicol), anti-sickness treatments (metoclopramide, domperidone), some treatments for diarrhoea caused by gall bladder disease, or lipid lowering drugs (cholestyramine).
Always ask your pharmacist or doctor whether this medicine is suitable for you if you are taking any other medicines.
