Ultra-Mini Painkiller Could Bring Relief to Millions of Britons

9 April 2007

Recent research shows nearly half of all women and a third of men over 50 have difficulty swallowing painkillers because they are simply too big (1)- a problem potentially affecting millions of people in the UK (2).

In response to the new research, Anadin have launched a new capsule - the smallest liquid ibuprofen capsule available in the UK, containing a highly concentrated formula.

Until now there were no 'small options' for people who need liquid ibuprofen - often seen as a fast acting painkiller available in high street shops, suitable for conditions such as back or joint pain.

Difficulty in swallowing tablets is thought to contribute to difficulties in pain management, resulting in many long-term sufferers of conditions such as back or joint pain enduring increased pain or limited mobility.

Despite the new capsule's size, it is still powerful - each capsule contains 200mg of concentrated liquid ibuprofen, getting to work fast to hit tough pain.

The liquid formula contained within each capsule allows for rapid absorption, offering fast relief for sufferers and providing effective relief from joint or rheumatic pain, muscle ache, back pain and migraine.

Available from most high street retailers, Anadin* Ultra new 'easy to swallow' liquid ibuprofen filled capsules (containing 200mg ibuprofen each) are on sale across the UK now and can be bought in pack sizes of 8, 12, 16 and 32. The 32 capsule pack is only available from the pharmacist.
