Who is it for?
Only take this medicine if you are over 12 years of age.
How often can I take it?
Take 1 to 2 tablets with a drink of water up to three times a day as required. The dose should not be repeated more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist for more than 10 days, consult your doctor.
Can I take Anadin Extra soluble if I am pregnant/breast-feeding?
Women should seek advice from their doctor before using any medicines in pregnancy. Do not take Anadin Ibuprofen if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid it if possible if you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding.
Can I take Anadin Extra soluble if I am asthmatic?
Before taking Anadin Ibuprofen you should consult your doctor.
Can I take Anadin Extra soluble if I am taking medicines prescribed by my doctor?
Your pharmacist is able to advise you of medicines which cannot be taken with Anadin Ibuprofen or where there is a chance that Anadin Ibuprofen and your other medicine(s) may interfere with each other.
Can I take Anadin Extra soluble if I have or have had a stomach ulcer?
You should not take Anadin Ibuprofen if you have had or are suffering from a stomach ulcer. You can take Anadin Paracetamol instead. If you require a stronger painkiller than paracetamol, it is recommended that you seek medical advice.
Each tablet contains 200mg of Ibuprofen. Anadin Ibuprofen is available in packs containing 12 or 16 tablets.
